One School|One Book

Co-sponsored by the Jerome Hall Law Library and the Leonard Fromm Office of Student Affairs

In response to the civil unrest in the summer of 2020, sparked by the deaths of people of color at the hands of government officials, the Jerome Hall Law Library and Leonard D. Fromm Office of Student Affairs co-sponsored a semester-long program on The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander to increase relevant discussion within the Maurer Law community. This undertaking provided access to the e-book title along with a weekly reading schedule, emails/posts summarizing the readings, and a lecture.
