  • Alaska State Legislature BASIS: access legislative information from 1982 to the present under the heading "Archive."
    • For 1993 forward, select the Legislature to examine. Under "Bills," select "Subject Summary" for an alphabetical list of subjects. Choose "Constitutional Amendments," which will retrieve a list of joint resolutions for the selected legislative term, including sponsor, title, and status of the proposed amendment.
    • For 1982-1992, choose "Infobases (1982-1992)," then under the heading "Measures - Text of Bills and Resolutions" select the Legislature to examine. From the chosen Legislature's measures, you can browse or run a query to find joint resolutions.
  • Alaska’s Constitution: A Citizen’s Guide (4th ed.) contains a list of constitutional amendments that have appeared on election ballots since 1966, including the subject of the amendment, constitutional provisions affected, resolution number, and votes for and against (pp. 219-222).

  • The Arkansas State Legislature search center web page allows citation or keyword searching for bills or acts proposed since the 76th General Assembly (1986). If you don't have a citation, you can keyword search for "SJR" or "HJR" or for the exact phrase, "to amend the Arkansas constitution."
