Request a Research Workshop: Home

Workshops on Demand from the Jerome Hall Law Librarians

The reference librarians at the Jerome Hall Law Library would like to invite Maurer law students to request research workshops on topics of their choice. These workshops can be held on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: HeinOnline, advanced Lexis Advance or WestlawNext training, legislative history research, advanced topical legal research (IP, family law, environmental law, etc.), and training on databases that are non-law related.

When requesting a workshop, please indicate the names and email addresses of at least two other students who are planning to attend. Please also provide us with two or three dates that will work for your group--workshops will normally be held during the lunch hour, but other arrangements can be made if necessary. When indicating dates, please take into consideration that the librarians will need time to adequately prepare the workshop. Once the date of the workshop has been chosen and confirmed with your group, we will open it up to the rest of the student body.

As always, if you have an individual research need, please contact any reference librarian to set up a meeting.
